      A:

I was also looking for non-dairy options a few months ago. I don't recall too many because my wife and I shared something with milk in it.

      Experience (4/5 stars):
*Food: Got the red-bean injeolmi + matcha. This would be good if you like peanut butter! Although the extra matcha was expensive, it tasted good with the fluffy shaved ice.
      *Price: $14 - $20 for bingsoo, $2 for a scoop of matcha
      *Service: self-serve

Overall, I'd come back to try the other desserts!

we came here for dessert after dimsum. the place is very spacious and cute with plenty of seating. the back area is great for larger groups. i recently discovered that this brand came from korea, so it's pretty authentic. there were four of us, so we order a matcha bingsoo and mango bingsoo. for those wondering about prices, each averaged around $17.

for those who are indecisive or have social anxiety, there is a self ordering kiosk with pictures of products they sell. i also like the cute individual bowls we get on the side. we didn't come at a particularly busy hour, so our stuff came pretty quickly.

i assumed the shaved ice itself would be matcha flavored, but it's actually milk flavor topped with matcha powder, ice cream, and mochi. they do not skimp on toppings which paired really well with the shaved ice. i'd say that one bingsoo is great for 2-3 people, but since we came with pretty full stomachs, the four of us couldn't even finish two bingsoos LOL

when you're done, there is an area in the front where you can leave your trays and bowls for the employees to bring in later. overall, this is a cute hangout spot and i would recommend stopping by with friends and family.

Came to have dessert after having delicious KBBQ with my relatives.

I appreciate that they have a self-checkout station so that the workers can start cranking out orders as soon as they receive them. I got to try the strawberry cheesecake with condensed milk on the side.

I appreciate that they have small bowls on the side so that you and your group can share. The amount of fruit to shaved ice was if not, I think perfect! What's nice is that as soon as you are finished, they have a rack to put your trays on so that they can take them and clean them for the next order.

The space is for intimate groups although I think the back area is more for larger groups.

Until next time, go ahead and get your shaved ice fix here!

My fav spot for bingsu!!! It does get very busy especially after dinner and you will be fighting for a seat but lots of people come and go luckily. I love the strawberry bingsu because they do not skimp on the strawberries!! The bingsu is very fluffy and can taste the creamy milk but I add on a side of condensed milk for $1. They do water it down tho. One bingsu is a good size for 2 ppl!

Tried the Injeolmi with Red Bean and got the Deluxe Strawberry. Takeout is an extra $2 per order, assuming due to packaging (use thick silver packets to keep it insulated). The Injeolmi was okay, eat it slow because the fine powder can make you cough, the condensed milk did not add much for me but I liked the mochi.

Ordering can be confusing because there is an extensive menu and a smaller one. However, reference the shaved ice in the glass for reference and the menu on top of the cashier.

Sulbing is so good! Lives up to the hype.

I've tried their injeolmi toast, strawberry shaved ice, mango shaved ice, and also this biscoff shaved ice! I think biscoff is my favorite now, because the crumbs from the cookie and the texture of the shaved ice is chef's kiss!

There is also espresso in this as well, but wasn't strong. You could sleep through the night. Vanilla ice cream definitely paired well with this too. It was huge!!

I really want to try their tiramisu next...... and maybe their other toast desserts! They should really consider opening up a bigger location as well.

So happy to find bingsoo outside of Korea!
Mango was sold out unfortunately so we got strawberry.
Strawberry was a little sour at this time (April 2024)
But I liked that it had a mochi on top and we also got mochi on the side.
We also got iced americano (too burnt) and a cold brew (too watery) but we mixed the both and they were great!

You order from a machine and drop off empty plates at a rack.
The space is huge and big enough to find corners to work :)
Would definitely come back here again!

I was craving for some Korean shaved ice cream and finally went to this place in Santa Clara. We ordered Strawberry Sulbing with cheese cake bites on side and we loved it. One portion is more than enough for 2 people. It is a bit on expensive side compared to Sul & bean but still i loved it. It was worth it.

I would give this place 3.5/5

Shaved snow like I never had it before. Cute plating, cute ambience and fast service. Sulbing is a great place to hang out with a group of friends.

The shaved ice here is super fluffy and soft. I can see why the place is so popular.

The Injeolmi flavored snow was surprisingly good! The powder and ice mixed together to form a sweet and earthy paste that paired really well with the red bean. However, the flavors were really subtle and I craved a bit more sweetness. Some condensed milk would have really elevated this to another level.

The tiramisu was pretty disappointing. Even though it was visually stunning, it never tasted like a great cohesive dish. The ice cream scoops were flavorless so it didn't add enough sweetness/creaminess to an otherwise bitter bowl of ice. The coco powder was bitter and so was the expresso shot you're supposed to pour on top. I think if they got better beans for the expresso and used a better quality ice cream this would have been really good.

I look forward to coming and trying their other flavors. Next time I'll need to add some more toppings to sweeten things up!

This is a ok desert place.
      Here is my comment:

Here is my scoring card for this pastry place:

      1) Location: ( 5 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and back side with parking lot parking.

      2) Decoration : (2 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean.

      3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type deserts they serve

      4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are below average . ( must be inflation )

      5) Type of desert standard : ( 4 point) - The style of desert they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in Korea. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need

Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Go foodies
