Came here with my sister last week for a scrub. Clean facilities and friendly staff. I'm used to getting a cucumber mask instead of a paste during the service, but it was nice to try something different. There are two pools in the women's spa -- hot and cold.

Loved loved loved the massage chairs, I could have stayed in that room for hours.

We recently visited Bay Spa in Santa Clara and had an overall pleasant experience.

      Ambiance:
The ambiance at Bay Spa is relaxing and serene. The decor is modern with a touch of elegance, which sets the mood for a perfect spa day. The waiting area was comfortable, with soothing music and a calming atmosphere that helped us unwind.

      Services:
We opted for the day pass, priced at $40, which provided all-access to the building. This included the use of massage chairs, three hot rooms, one cold room, showers, saunas, and a jacuzzi. We wished the hot rooms were a bit hotter, but that's probably because people go in and out, which can lower the temperature. The massage chairs were incredibly comfortable and effective at relieving tension. Although there is a 30-minute limit, we were able to use them a bit longer since it wasn't busy. The variety of rooms ensured there was something for everyone, making the day pass a great value. The locker rooms were well-equipped with refreshing water and supplies like shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, making the experience very relaxing and convenient.

The staff at Bay Spa were courteous and welcoming. One of the staff members gave us a tour of the facility since it was our first time, which was very helpful.

      Food:
We ordered the chicken katsu, which was delicious but a little over-fried. It could have been more tender, but we enjoyed it regardless. We also had the lychee and coco bingsu, which was very tasty. It had the perfect amount of sweetness, and the toppings added a pleasing texture to the dessert. Additionally, we tried a soup filled with tofu and beef, which was really good.

Our visit was pleasant, and we would definitely go back again. Bay Spa offers a great combination of relaxing facilities, good food, and excellent customer service, making it a standout spa in Santa Clara.

      1 check-in

Bay spaaaaaa finally one in the north bay! I missed SoCal spa palace and wi spa so much so I'm glad we have one like it in San Jose! This spot is $40 for the whole day as you're greeted with your own uniform and key for your locker!

What's included in the day pass is 3 different sauna rooms, 1 ice cold room, massage chairs (30min limit), separate men and women hot tub room, with steam room, cold plunge!, and sauna. There's also showers so you can feel clean and refresh afterwards! They also have a cafe area where you can order food!

I would definitely come back! The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because the shared sauna rooms on the first floor are too small and aren't hot enough compared to the ones in SoCal also when you're inside the sauna on the shared floor it's not sound proof you hear people next door and outside which can cut into your relaxation time there.

Sometimes the rooms can get quite chatty and the other patrons are tired of it. It was an okay experience this time but I don't see myself returning.

About a year or 2 ago when my husband and I were in LA we visited a similar establishment called Wi Spa. We loved it so much and were sad it's so far away from us until we found this gem recently through a quick google search. We absolutely loved the experience. We got the day pass and spent around 3 ish hours here transitioning through the saunas, massage chairs, got some yummy food to eat, and just relaxed (which we definitely needed after how much stress we've been under). We will definitely be returning again!

SPA I can't compare this to any other Asian spa because I haven't been to other ones before, but I had a great experience here and spent the whole day here with a couple of friends.

You don't need to bring your own sandals because they provide you with sandals and what looks like a P.E. physical education uniform.

They also provide you with a locker that is included with the price.

FOOD they have a restaurant inside that allows you to really spend all day here haha. I'm curious to try their ramen next time. You order at a digital kiosk that is touch screen.

GENERAL Next time I would do one of the massage services and that grants you access to the entire spa.

This spa is excellent and it's next door to paiks noodles which is also excellent. The food inside the spa is not excellent. That is the worst tteokboki I've ever eaten in my life. Lots of amenities to enjoy and I especially liked the full body massage chairs.

I came on a Wednesday morning for my
Birthday! Bummer there's no birthday specials when I asked the front desk but I was still ready to get scrubbed down. It's not my first time at a Korean spa but it was my first time here. I got a tour of the facility, which is a great touch that this place does. I booked the Aroma Therapy scrub for 90 min. Not sure if there was a specific smell happening during this because I didn't notice anything. But anyways, this was relaxing! What can be off putting to new comers and experienced people is that the scrub area is VERY open. It's in a separate room than the pools, which is nice and different from other Korean spas, but this one has no privacy between everyone getting scrubbed! It looked like they have curtains set up but they dont use them. Personally, I didn't mind but it was a new quirk to experience for sure.

Linda did my service and when it was time for the massage, I told her to do light pressure on my legs, and only on my legs, and she definitely delivered. She did great and I left the bath area feeling super clean and relaxed.

The kitchen is open! Lots of options. It's interesting that there was a kiosk but I guess thats silicon valley for you. The kiosk takes credit card instead of your bracelet.

To Bay Spa management, please add allergens on the menu items! I'm not confident on having a safe eating experience with a gluten intolerance.

What a lovely, peaceful place. I brought a book and disconnected from my phone.

It's not the biggest place, so I think it could easily feel crowded.

The locker room area has nice sofas that I was hoping to lounge on with a face mask, but because it was so close to the spa it smelled really heavily of chlorine and I abandoned that idea.

The warm rooms were very nice, but while I was trying to relax in the Jade room something kept banging on the other side of the wall and I had to give up and walk out.

I ate at the onsite cafe. I ordered the bibimbap and the portion was HUGE. I wasn't expecting side dishes, so I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and amount. I felt the $20 price tag (there was a tax-free special when I went) was reasonable.
