많은 언론과 경제 전문가들은 미국 경제가 올해 다소 어려울 것으로 전망하고 있고, 내년에는 침체기에 들어설 것이라는 의견도 나오고 있습니다. Y컴비네이터는 최근 창업자들에게 ‘가장 어려운 시기에 대비하라’고 주문하기도 했습니다. 창업자금을 고민하는 스타트업도 늘고 있습니다.
이런 시기일수록 한국 커뮤니티가 한국계 스타트업들을 지원해야 할 때라고 생각합니다. 유레카 엔젤스가 이번 행사를 개최하게 된 배경입니다. 유레카 엔젤스는 창업 초기 기업에 전문 지식을 지원해 주고 자금을 융통해 주며 나아가 좋은 VC와 연결해 드리는 디딤돌 역할을 하고자 합니다. 이번 행사에는 다수의 VC분들과 국내외 미디어 분들이 참석할 예정입니다. 스타트업 창업자들의 간단한 회사 소개 시간도 마련되어 있습니다(시간이 한정되어 있어 선착순으로 신청 받습니다. 실리콘밸리 최고 VC들 앞에서 피칭을 희망하시면 아래 이메일로 연락 주세요.

Many media and economic experts say the U.S. economy is in a downturn this year and may be barreling toward recession next year. Y Combinator, the famous startup accelerator, recently advised founders to ‘plan for the worst’ amid market teardown.
Many early stage startups, including those in Silicon Valley seeking PMFs and supporting funds, are now concerned about their future. A friend in need is a friend indeed. It's time to connect to help each other in the Korean startup community, and this is Eureka's mission to kick off the event.
Eureka Angels helps early-stage startups find their Product-Market-Fits or create stories to link to a fateful VC. We'd like to provide a place where startup founders, VCs, and media can meet each other, know their strengths, and help one another to establish a strong Korean startup ecosystem together in Silicon Valley.
So, we prepared our first Korean startup networking event with KIC (Korea Innovation Center) and please join and meet early-stage startup founders, VCs, and media.
