We focus on early-stage, cross-sector investments, typically ranging from $2M to $5M per investment. Under the guidance of the Compliance Officer, the Assistant Compliance Officer will manage compliance programs, support legal matters, and conduct market research. > > > > *Location: Onsite at Mountain View office > > > *Start Date: Jan 2025 > > > *Compensation: Commensurate with experience, market competitive > > > *Responsibilities > > > · Implement and administer the company’s compliance program, including developing and executing applicable risk assessments and reporting on compliance testing. > > · Review and update compliance policies and procedures. > > · Conduct and manage third-party risk management, including ongoing monitoring of third-party relationships. > > · Manage and monitor the contract lifecycle, from initiation to termination. > > · Develop and implement compliance training programs. > > · Monitor changes in relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance, and assess their impact on VC businesses. > > · Respond to internal auditors during compliance audits and address internal audit findings. > > · Coordinate with external experts for industry best practices and legal advice. > > · Engage in effective communications with KDB and KDB NY branch’s compliance department, submitting required reports accordingly. > > · Perform other duties as assigned by the Compliance Officer and responsible for certain administrative duties of the company. > > · Analyze VC market trends and conduct related research. > > · Assist in the company’s strategic planning tasks as needed. > > > > > > *Qualifications/Requirements > > > · Bachelor’s degree or above > > · Fluent in English and Korean preferred > > · Previous experience in compliance or legal preferred, but not required > > · Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) > > · Excellent verbal and written communication skills > > · Discretion and confidentiality > > · Planning and time management skills > > · High level of motivation, integrity, and self-confidence > > · Respect and care, collaboration and flexibility, honesty and transparency > > · Candidates applying for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States > > · Working in the office is required.
