[후기] 2024 뉴이어 파티 | Lunar New Year Party

2024년 2월 10일, 실리콘벨리 한인 100명 가까이가 모여 SVK와 설날을 맞이하는 따뜻한 시간을 보냈습니다. 이 날은 Catharine Clark Gallery에서 Chris Doyle과 Chester Arnold님의 작품을 감상하며 시작되었습니다. 참여자분들은 OX 퀴즈도 풀고, 몸으로 말하기도 하며(빠가사리<- 요 제시어 몸으로 설명 가능하신분?), 즐거운 윷놀이, Raffle과 Silent Auction을 진행 하였습니다. 모두가 한마음으로 모인 이번 이벤트의 옥션 수익금 $610는 새누리교회의 장애인사역 및 우리의 손길이 필요한 곳에 전달 됩니다.

On February 10th, around 100 folks from the Korean community in Silicon Valley came together for a super warm and fun Lunar New Year celebration. The day kicked off with everyone checking out the cool artworks of Chris Doyle and Chester Arnold at the Catharine Clark Gallery. We had a blast playing OX quizzes, doing charades (like, who can act out '빠가사리'?), rolling the dice in Yutnori, and diving into Raffle and Silent Auction activities. All of us, joining hearts and hands, managed to raise $610 from the auction, which we're sending over to New Community Baptist Church's disability ministry and other places that could really use a hand.
A big, big thanks to everyone who donated items for the auction, everyone who joined in the fun, and the special guests who added that extra sparkle to our event. And, of course, a huge shoutout to the staff who put this whole thing together with nothing but a boatload of passion for community service.
