Job Summary:

As an Auto Customer Engineering Support, you will be responsible in communicating with Automotive business customers in North America. You will be supporting their quality/engineering demands and resolving issues starting from development to mass production. This job’s responsibilities requires you to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibility:

Support the assigned customers in North America
Initiate first communications as a contact point for customer’s Tech & Quality inquires
Clarify customer’s requirements and find appropriate solutions through communication with Korean headquarters and customers
Provide support and solutions for issues from development to mass production
Coordinate regular or issue based conference calls and face-to-face meetings between customers and LG Display
Report the status of projects to management periodically to trace and to establish project direction
Align the plans of the customer’s new program and LGD development planning
Align customer design concepts and LGD Design for robust product design
Arrange prototypes and development samples for customer evaluation
Support product evaluation and specification condition to reach approval of qualification
Align mass production start plans to customer’s product volume in a timely manner
Plan for and implement engineering change requirements after mass production
Arrange all Tech & Quality meetings such as Kick off, Development & New Tech between LG Display and customer
Comply with the company’s policy and procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

0- 2+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred
Bilingual in Korean and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Professional demeanor on phone and in-person, strong communication skills
Organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task
Authorized to work for any U.S. employer (This role does not provide visa sponsorship)


Preferred:

B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
